GDPR-compliant information on how MagicSQL processes personal data in the Android app and on this website.
The controller responsible for data processing in connection with the MagicSQL Android app and website under the GDPR is:
A) MagicSQL Android App
The MagicSQL app stores connection data (host, port, username, database name, SSH config) exclusively on your device. Passwords are encrypted using the Android Keystore. No connection data is transmitted to our servers.
B) This Website (Waitlist)
If you sign up for the waitlist, your email address is used solely to notify you at app launch. We do not use a third-party mailing service — the address is sent directly to our inbox via mailto link.
The email address from the waitlist is used solely to notify you once when MagicSQL launches. It will not be shared with third parties. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@senova.app.
This website uses no tracking cookies, no analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Matomo) and no ad networks. The only storage used is a localStorage entry for your language preference — no server-side cookie.
Google Fonts CSS files are loaded from Google servers on page load, which may involve transmission of your IP address to Google. See Google Privacy Policy.
MagicSQL connects directly from your device to the database servers you configure. We act as a pure client — your queries and data never pass through our servers. We have no access to the databases you manage or their contents.
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
To exercise your rights contact: hello@senova.app
This website is served over HTTPS. Connection passwords in the MagicSQL app are stored encrypted via the Android Keystore. We implement state-of-the-art technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed — for example when new app features are added or legal requirements change. The date of the last update is shown above. For material changes, waitlist members will be notified by email.
